Apple Care+
  • Apple changed the AppleCare program they offer for the iPhone 4S.
  • AppleCare+ covers accidental damage due to handling (might cost $49 for service, but it's cheaper than buying an entirely new iPhone)
  • Originally costs $99 ($30 more than AppleCare)
  • Must get it when you buy the phone, you can't add it later on down the road.
  • iPhone 4S users cannot but AppleCare, they must buy either AppleCare+ or the free default protection Apple offers, but AppleCare+ is now available for all models (4S, 4, 3GS)
  • AppleCare+ protects phone for 2 years, but users usually get an upgrade before the time is up.
  • Get repair coverage and technological coverage for phone and the accessories that come in the package.
